About Me
My name is Linda, but most folks call me Xen, and I’ve been a bookkeeper my whole life! I started as an entrepreneur when I was 16 and fell fast into the world of records and bookkeeping - whether I wanted to or not. Although I enjoyed it, I didn’t appreciate my knack for it until I became treasurer for a PTO in Phoenix Arizona, and my love for maintaining financial records grew. More than that - I came to realize that most people do not share my love of monthly reconciliations.
I’ve been a professional bookkeeper for over 5 years and studied under a CPA for the majority of that time. My passion is for entrepreneurs and making their working lives easier by managing their financial books so they are free to do what they do best: be entrepreneurs! Monthly reconciliations are my passion, but I can handle most of the monthly chores that most folks find mundane and time-consuming, such as filing sales taxes, and filing 1099’s. I thrive on making sure your entries are complete so you can hand them over to your CPA at tax time!
In my spare time, I love gardening and sewing. I’m a published author on family dynamics and I’ve written articles sharing my perspective and thoughts on family life. I’m also in the process of writing a series of fiction novels. I have three heelers, 1 cat, 2 teenagers, and an exasperated husband who thankfully finds my quirks endearing.
